The programme successfully met its objectives, with participation from the target group of students in English II and III classes. In response to the Senate of Universiti Malaysia Kelantan's deliberate suggestions to improve English proficiency among UMK students, the idea for the ENGLISH E-CARNIVAL 2022 series was conceived as a support programme for other English language initiatives. This programme was created to increase confidence in using the English language via more relaxed and enjoyable exercises. Besides, it also aims to foster an English-speaking culture among UMK students outside of class hours to fulfil the university's vision and mission of producing graduates who excel not only in entrepreneurship but also in terms of their readiness to improve their English skills. English E-Carnival 2022 is also an initiative intended to serve as a platform for English language learning among UMK students, as well as a step toward achieving the Ecosystem for English Language and Assessment in Higher Education (ELHAM). A total of 188 entries for 'Online Quiz I' were recorded during the one week of the program. The activities involved in this carnival were created to offer students additional exposure outside their conventional English classroom learning hours. Students may polish their understanding, particularly in the vocabulary and grammar of the English language. It also contributes to the development of English culture that is taught in the classroom and practised outside of class to increase student's English proficiency. This aligns with Universiti Malaysia Kelantan's (UMK) vision and objective of producing graduates that are not only outstanding in business but also confident in speaking and writing in English.
